So ihr Lieben,

heute Abend wird im Gewandhaus die diesjährige Buchmesse eröffnet und ab morgen strömen wieder Scharen von Lesern und Lesebegeisterten in die Hallen der Neuen Messe in Leipzig. Auch ich gehöre dazu.

Gestern habe ich im Pressezentrum meinen Presseausweis abgeholt und darf mich nun mit dieser Dauerkarte in das Getümmel werfen.

Eine Premiere, denn diesen Service für Blogger gibt es dieses Jahr das erste Mal!

 

So my lovely readers,

this evening marks the opening of this years book fair in Leipzig. From tomorrow on there will be lots and lots of readers and booklovers around the halls of the Neue Messe in Leipzig. I will be there, too.

Yesterday I picked up my press card at the press centre and have the possibility to attend the fair every day from tomorrow until sunday.

This is a first – this service for bloggers exists this year the first time!

Natürlich fällt dies dieses Jahr etwas ruhiger aus, da ich immer mal wieder die Auswirkungen von Überlastungen in meinem Bein merke.

Nichts desto trotz habe ich mir zumindest für jeden Messetag ein kleines Programm zusammengestellt und werde euch berichten, was ich davon nun erlebt habe – und vor allem: was sich gelohnt hat.

Leider ist es wieder so, dass sich viele Veranstaltungen überschneiden und mir somit die Möglichkeit genommen wird, all das anzuschauen, was ich möchte. Aber das ist der Lauf der Dinge und damit muss man leben.

Also habe ich mir das für mich Interessanteste und auch durchführbarste herausgesucht und hoffe, dass es eine interessante Messezeit wird.

 

Naturally this years fair will be a little bit calmer for me because I don’t want to overstrain my leg. So from time to time there will be a good amount of breaks from running around the fair.

Nevertheless I have a programme for every day of the fair and will tell you every day what went on and – most interesting part: if it was worthwile.

Unfortunately it’s like every year: there are many events which take place at the same time – so I definitely have to choose…

But I think I have picked the most interesting things for me and I really hope it will be a good time at the fair.
