~ „Zoo“ – die neue Serie auf Pro7 ~

Am Mittwoch startete die Serie „Zoo“ auf Pro7.

On wednesday was the german start of the series „Zoo“ on tv-channel Pro7.

I read the book of James Patterson before and was excited about the start. And I was right about it.

Ich hatte schon zuvor das Buch von James Patterson gelesen und habe mich auf die Ausstrahlung gefreut. Und das meiner Meinung nach zu Recht.

Die Geschichte ist total anders aufgebaut als das Buch – und das ist auch eine gute Idee der Entwickler gewesen.

The story is totally different from the one told in the book – and this is of course a good idea made to reality.

Of course there are some articles on the web where the authors say things like: „Oh, it’s not as bloody as in the book“ – or things similar to this.

Bei manchen Artikeln im Internet habe ich schon solche Aussprüche gehört wie: „Oh, ist ja gar nicht so blutig wie im Buch“ – oder ähnliches.

But I think especially this not-bloody-thing of the series is a good thing. If you like to watch bloody animal horror – go and have a look at those movies shown at Tele5.

In „Zoo“ the main point is not the showing of animal-horror or bad animal behaviour which is out of control – in „Zoo“ the main focus is on the human fear.

Aber gerade dieses Nicht-Blutige finde ich gut gemacht. Wer Tierhorror haben will, kann sich ja die mehr oder weniger gut gemachten Filme auf Tele5 anschauen.

In „Zoo“ geht es nicht um die zur-Schau-Stellung von tierischem Jagdverhalten, welches  außer Kontrolle geraten ist – in „Zoo“ ist die Angst der beherrschende Faktor.

Bisher haben mir die ersten drei Folgen recht gut gefallen und die kommenden Wochen werden zeigen, ob ich mit meiner ersten Beurteilung richtig gelegen habe.

An dieser Stelle nur noch eins: die Schauspieler sind gut gewählt und meine Favoriten sind natürlich Oz (gespielt von James Wolk) und der Tierpathologe Mitch (gespielt von Billy Burke).

The first three episodes were quite good and the following weeks will show if my first impression was right.

Just one more thing: the actors are quite good and my favorites are Oz (played by James Wolk) and Mitch (played by Billy Burke).

Gutes Zitat der ersten Folgen: Ich mag Menschen… Ich fühle mich nur wohler, wenn sie gerade nicht da sind.
