~ Urlaubsreif? / Ready for a holiday? ~

Pünktlich zum Beginn der kalten und dunklen Tage findet seit Mittwoch wieder die Messe „Touristik und Caravaning“ in Leipzig statt. Noch bis Sonntag können sich Urlaubshungrige einen Überblick über Reiseziele verschaffen – und ihrem Traum vom eigenen Wohnmobil zumindest bei vielen Besichtigungen etwas näher kommen.

With the start of the cold and darker days you can catch up with some ideas for holiday destinations on the fair „Touristik und Caravaning“ in Leipzig. Until sunday all those who are ready for holidays can have a look around and get some inspiration for the right travel destination next year. Or they can have a look at some of the Camper Vans – that might be their next big thing.

Besonderes Augenmerk liegt bei dieser Messe auch immer auf der Glashalle, in der die „Essensmeile“ mit diversen Foodtrucks zu Hause ist. Gut besucht und mit diversen Highlights ausgestattet, ist diese Anlaufpunkt für Hungrige und Interessierte zugleich.

What’s special about this fair? The Glass Hall of the building, where you will find many foodtrucks which are the best thing for the hungry and those who are interested in different ways to eat. A highlight of the annual fair.

Und natürlich laden auch die vielen unterschiedlichen Reiseveranstalter dazu ein, sich an den Ständen zu informieren und Infomaterial mitzunehmen. Dabei kann man gerne entscheiden, seinen Urlaub eher in der „Weiten Welt“ zu verbringen – oder doch „Um die Ecke“.

For sure there are different holiday-providers which are happy to tell you things about your next destinatioin and help you to focus on the best weeks of the year. And with the whole hall full of destinations, it’s up to you to choose between „Holiday on the other side of the world“ or „Holiday around the corner“.

Auch für die visuelle Anregung ist gesorgt, u.a. mit dem Urlaubskino von verschiedenen Reiseanbietern, zum Beispiel „Polster und Pohl“. Musikalisches erleben konnte man bei der Kapelle aus dem Zillertal oder bei dem Extragast aus dem schönen Irland.

Auch diejenigen, deren Urlaubskleidung nicht ausreichend ist, sind auf der Messe gut bedient.

You could also find time to relax with some holiday-cinema with movies and pictures and talks about some travel destinations, like Leipzig based company „Polster & Pohl“ does. But there is also room for music to listen to: may it be the Zillertal band or the singer from the green hills of Ireland.

The fair has also something for those, who are looking for the right kind of holiday clothing.
