Bevor ich euch von meinen Ausfluegen zu Castell Coch und Tenby berichte, habe ich an dieser Stelle zwei Buecher, die ich euch ans Herz legen moechte.
Before I am going to tell you about my trips to Castell Coch or Tenby I now have two books for you to consider reading.
Eines davon ist ein Roman von Nicholas Sparks, der es immer wieder schafft, dass ich tief in die Geschichte falle und ein Teil davon werde.
In „A bend in the road“ machen wir die Bekanntschaft von Miles und Sarah.
One of it is a novel by Nicholas Sparks whose novels always find a place in my heart and I am pretty much becoming part of it.
In „A bend in the road“ we meet Miles and Sarah.
Miles ist ein junger verwitweter Vater und Sarah die Lehrerin seines Sohnes Jonah. Sie kuemmert sich liebevoll um den Jungen, der einige Probleme mit dem Schulstoff hat.
Nachdem seine Frau Missy vor einigen Jahren verstarb, hat der sympathische Polizist bisher nicht wieder an eine neue Liebe gedacht. Bis er Sarah sieht.
Sie treffen sich und werden bald mehr als nur Freunde.
Miles is a young widower who lost his wife Missy a few years earlier under tragical circumstances and Sarah is the school teacher of his son Jonah. She helps him to get better in reading, writing and maths.
Miles hadn’t thought about a new love in his life until he met Sarah. They begin to meet and become more than just friends.

Das zweite Buch, dass ich euch empfehlen moechte, ist „The Land of Stories“ von Chris Colfer. Der Jungautor und Schauspieler („Glee“) entfuehrt den Leser in eine Maerchenwelt, die fasziniert, unterhaelt und zum wiederkommen einlaedt.

Wie in der Serie „Once upon a time“ beginnt auch diese Geschichte mit Schneewittchen. Diese besucht ihre Stiefmutter im Verlies und laesst sich ihre Geschichte erzaehlen…

Wir lernen Alex und Conner kennen. Die Geschwister haben erst kuerzlich ihren Vater verloren und fuehlen sich ziemlich allein. Ihre Mutter gibt sich die allergroesste Muehe, ihnen ein schoenes Leben zu geben, ist aber selten zu Hause.
Da bekommen die Kinder Besuch von ihrer Grossmutter, die ihnen ein Buch aus ihrer fruehen Kindheit schenkt – ein Maerchenbuch.
